“Is buying real estate at 50 cents on the dollar for real?”

The short answer is YES.  While these type of deals happen every month here in Texas, knowing how to identify and acquire them is not always as easy as it may seem.   With our Auction Field Trip you will work with one of our Roddy Real Estate Investing Academy's (RREIA) Auction Representative to learn first hand how to identify,  bid, and purchase property at auction.  More importantly, you will learn how to avoid the costly mistakes many investors make when buying properties at auction and how to maximize the value of your time invested on the courthouse steps.

Your day begins with a pre-auction meeting where our RREIA Auction representative who will cover the agenda for the day.  During this meeting you will prepare your target list (supplied by RREIA), discuss auction protocols, and go over any last minute details.

At the auction you will identify trustees, including where they like to “set up”, their method of reading postings, accepting bids, and observe the bidding process for foreclosed properties.  In addition, you will learn how to spot the professional investors, the amateurs, and the “spectators”.  Furthermore, you will learn how to network with other investors during your “downtime” to maximize the value of your time invested at auction.

• Auction Preparation:  Identifying your targets, preparing your lists, forms of payment, etc.
• Locating Trustees:  Quickly identify Trustees, their habits, and how to use this information to your advantage.
• The Bidding Process:  Observe the bidding process and learn the right (and wrong) way to win propeties at auction.
• Identifying the “Pros”:  How to quickly spot the professional investors, what motivates them, and what to expect when bidding against them.
• Networking :  Find out how to make thousands at every auction without ever submitting a single bid.
• After Auction precautions:  There are some timely duties you must make sure you follow.
  

About the trainer:

A certified RREIA staff member will take you through every step of this process and you will walk away from this "Field Trip" with a clear understanding of the nuances of this investment auction/process.
